TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background tells you something. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The speed is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
