TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
